Google Search Console

I can't manage to verify my page with google search console.  I have entered the suggested html code on the SEA header section, tried to verify through google analytics with no luck.  Any suggestions?

Hi @idaviljoen Do you have a different account and is the domain name spelled correctly?

Hello Bernadette,

On my website's general settings my site address is listed as idaviljoen.weebly.com, but my website is listed as www.nutrinotions.com.

When I used idaviljoen.weebly.com I could verify.

Thank you for your feedback,

Ida

Hi @idaviljoen It sounds like you using forwarding w/masking for your domain name. This isn't the same as connecting it to your website (your domain's IP address is not pointing to Weebly) and I don't think you'll be able to properly verify with the meta tag option. You can try verifying with the dns option, but I don't know how your analytics will process for the subdomain. I would definitely check on a Google forum to see if anyone else has been able to accomplish this.

https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080?hl=en Make sure to choose the option for DNS Record.

Hi @Thunder_Bolt It doesn't look like you've added any code to the Settings>SEO>Header. Are you following these instructions? https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/verify-your-site-with-search-engines
