Blog post titles needed? Or is SEO title enough?

In an effort to clean up my blog/make it more eye catching/make it easier to view on mobile, I have been using photos that have the blog post title on them instead of using the blog post title line. However, is a blog post title needed for SEO? Or is having a unique URL and SEO title enough?

Feel free to take a look at my blog, as you can see I've been using the the title lines as dividers simply using "______________________" since I could not delete blog post titles.

Google can probably index them fine, although I think it would make more sense to site visitors to see the blog post title instead of the _________ lines you currently have. That's just my two cents, though.
