Blog generating only US traffic
Hi @Bernadette @Adam,
Why does Blog on Weebly generate only US traffic?
Based on google analytics and Weebly analytics, everytime I post a new blog post, it generates the traffic. However, only in Canada or the USA. Nothing gets generated in Europe.
I know Weebly is the US company but if it is positioning itself as a wordwide service, it should allow generating traffic in Europe as well.
Is there a way to change traffic generation to Europe instead of US market?
Thanks.

Thanks for your post, @JaneCraft.
That may be because of the cookie laws in Europe versus the US; you're likely getting a lot of traffic from Europe but we aren't able to track them unless the specifically okay being tracked.

Hi Adam, thanks for reply.
Cookies is not the case. I would like to find out where is Weebly's blog hosted because from what I can tell by sales, everytime a new blog post is posted - it generates new public to visit the site. And the public who buys is always from the US. Therefore, I want change the blog traffic settings for my website because my main sales market is based in Europe.
Thanks.

European GDPR laws dictate that we display a popup to visitors from Europe when they visit your site asking them to consent to cookies, and to tracking. Unless someone explicitly clicks the button to okay it, then they are not tracked. This means if they just dismiss it, navigate to a different page, read and then leave, or do anything other than actually click the button and say it's okay then they are not tracked. This usually results in seeing lower numbers of visitors from Europe.

What is the topic of the blog? Have to tailored any of the content to attract non US readers? Certain keywords and subjects are more popular outside of the US.
