I am creating a blog with categories and would like the categories to be displayed from a dropdown menu at the top navigation. Basically, just the categories menu that is off to the side be accessible from clicking the blog topic at the top and having all the subcategories available there. The only instructions online available for this involves creating entire new blog pages for each category and each individual post thereafter, which I do not want. I still want the entire stream of all my blog posts to be visible when you just click on the main blog page.
For example, if you go to my home page at https://anicecreamaday.weebly.com/. One of the options at the top is "Ice Cream Reviews". When you click on that you get all the ice cream review posts available in order of posting date and can scroll through those that way, which I want to keep. Also off to the side of the post is the "categories" option with these same posts orgainzed by brand such as "Ben and Jerry's" and "Bassetts". I want this to remain there as well. What I would like to accomplish is taking those same categories and making them available as a drop down menu from the "Ice Cream Reviews" button on the top navigation to make it easier for readers to find the category. As it is right now, readers cannot see what categories are available unless the first click on Ice Cream Reviews, not knowing where that will lead them, and only then able to see the categories on the side of the page. I hope that makes sense and I really appreciate any advice!
