Popup Mailing Lists 'name'
Hi there,
After creating 'popups' to build an email list, a placeholder 'mailing list' name is created in the 'mailing lists' under 'contacts' in the 'marketing' section of Dashboard.
No matter what I do, I can't get the name of the Mailing list to be the same as the popup name, and I can't re-name it to match either. It will just be something like 'Email Collection Pop-up 2'. So if I can't rename it, how will I be able to either keep track of it, or see which Mailing list is attached to which popup???
It seems so dumb that it can't be renamed, or if it can it is certainly not obvious. And if I create multiple Popups, each one can actually create a duplicate name, so I could theoretically have 10 'Email Collection Pop-up 2' mailing lists. That is not workable, what is going on here?

I'm not sure if this is a feature request, or a bug, @CatHughesXO. I'm checking with support right now. When did you create these popups? Were they all done today or recently?

I've been testing them over the last week or 2 to make sense of how the mailing list is created that relates to the popup. Sometimes I can't tell which one it is because the names are non descript and dont match to the name of the popup, even if you go in to the popup's setting and change the name before a 'subscriber' is added.

I can completely see what you are referring to. I've been told to escalate for further research, which means the advanced support team will verify if what you are experiencing is a bug. They were not able to tell me right away. 😕
How many of the popups will you be keeping active? I think the best option is to delete the mailing lists of the pop-ups you either 1) started and didn't complete (a list is still created!) or 2) completed, but then deleted from the pop-up tab.

SOrry Bernadette but I think that is beside the point. I would like to have multiple different popups on different pages for different categories of mailing lists.
It would be a feature as simple as being able to rename the Mailing lists at the very least. I cannot fathom how this is not already a feature?!
