"Buy now" button wont change to "purchase"
Hi guys,
I've changed the wording of the "buy now" button in the area where I manage products to "purchase". I've hit "publish" and when I check it from a visitor perspective. I go to my website, I see it says "purchase" on the button until i click on the product and then it's still showing " buy now". How can I make sure it changes please? There is a reason why I don't want it to say "buy now". See below pics where when I'm in the editor it says "purchase" but in the publics end it says "buy now"
Thanks,
Lea

The button on the item details page is not editable, unfortunately. The only two built-in options for the buttons on that page are "buy now" or "add to cart".
Do you plan on customers purchasing the items through the website, or are you just taking information for interested buyers?

Thanks Bernadette,
Ok so why have it editable before getting to the purchasing page? As you can see I can actually edit it and it shows that it changes....until it goes to the single product page.
As for your question, Well, its tricky for people buying outside of Australia for me. I need them to contact me so I can add their shipping costs. So if I'm saying "buy now" then I dont want them to assume they are buying the item and all shipping costs are included. I guess though I can use "add to cart" in this case? Is this going to work? How would you suggest I do this?
What are others doing in the case of Australian artist websites for shipping considering we can't use the shipping calculator you have. Its geared for the US I see. Which is why I've had to include shipping within Australia in my prices.
Cheers

While we don't yet have real-time shipping for Australia, you should be able to set up your own rates based on weight, order total price, etc, @leaS. Will those not work for you?

No not really. It's a bit complicated with art. Thanks anyway.

Maybe you could have a page on your site for international buyers. They could submit a contact form to make arrangements instead of having the buyer purchasing the art through the website?
Or maybe you could add a modifier for the international option for people to check mark to acknowledge that there would also be a shipping charge that would need to be paid after the item is purchased.

Thanks Bernadette,
Sounds like it could be helpful. How would I add a modifier. Can you step me through this please?
The page for international is a good idea too but Id like to look at the modifier option first.
Thanks
