A reply to my last support ticket seems to have gone unanswered.
On my published site my page(s) will shift right and left when scrolling. My other site did not do this (saxonlights.weebly.com). when it shifts, you cant use the third mouse button to scroll unless you scroll and make it move back the other way.
My other question is how can i stop the background picture from jerking when someone scrolls with the thrid mouse wheel button? both sites do this and i have ran across other sites that do it too.
Reading this forum has helped me several time but i can not find any topics that list what i am discribing.
Thanks
Matt.

Hi Matt (aka saxon),
Thanks for the troubleshooting help! I consulted all my levels of senior support.
It has been determined the Edge issue is a bug, and so now our developers will investigate that.
As for the code not working on Firefox, that browser will not show Flash content under any circumstances unless the person who uses the browser installs a plugin to show Flash. They used to do it automatically but have stopped allowing Flash in those situations due to security issues with Flash content. So browser owners (that is, your site visitors) have to install the required Flash plugin and purposefully activate it in order to view that content.
(I am sending this all in the email as well, but wanted our other users to know what was going on.)

I Thank you, you mentioned Chrome, tried several computers but did not dawn on me to try different Browser. I tried firefox and it was smooth, except my embedded content didnt show up.
So it appears Weebly and Edge, IE dont play well together and since i am missing content on FireFox, I guess Weebly and FireFox dont play nice together.
I should not be having this much of a problem with my site on the most popular browsers. But before I blame Weebly I am going to check it out on different computers.
Thanks agin, this community is very helpful

I got exactly the same result - chrome loaded and ran fine, Firefox missing content, Edge wouldn't even load....I suspect something in that theme - have you tried a different theme?

insightful - it appears it maybe the theme "stripes". Although i have not had issue with that theme on old site. I previewed many sites in the editor and all seemed to work with edge but same problem when selecting 'stripes'.
I find it hard to believe Weebly would allow such and unstable theme on the most popular browsers. I am hoping Erin or Adam or another Admin can look into my site and advise. Maybe i did something wrong... ?

Is this on saxonlights.weebly.com, @saxon? What embedded content isn't showing? Is this in the editor or on the live site?
I'm testing in FireFox and I'm not seeing what you described, but I want to be sure I'm looking at the correct page and site.

Yea, that might be. The embedded flash videos have specific widths entered for them and browsers seem to be handling it a little differently. Try adding spacers to either side of each video, @saxon.

I thought for sure you two were on to something!
Sorry, added spacers and published but got the same results (edge and Firefox). So I deleted the embedded videos and the jumpy background and shifting was still there.
I loaded a different theme in the editor and the reloaded the Stripes theme and the shifting seemed to stop although still jumpy background . I did not publish it yet, need to redo background pics and page color. I will update you when i have completed that.
Again, thanks for your help, really, very helpful

OK,,,Published site same problems. Tried the Lucent Theme (similar to Stripes) and same problem(s). Tried different themes and all worked great( except with Fire fox embedded content not showing (maybe i have a crappy countdown generater)).
So it seems the problems are with the 2 Themes and the 2 browsers.
Adam - I choose Weebly because of the 2 themes that allow me view a page over a background picture. I can deal not using those countdown generaters but i cant deal with the background pic jumping and page shifting when scrolling in IE or Edge - looks like the website is going to fall apart. So what do i do from here? Call a developer, support desk, leave it in your hands?

Strangely, I can't seem to get anything odd to happen with your background in any browser I try. What operating system are you using, and what browser versions?

Sorry for delay...
I am using windows 10 - Edge. Background jumps when scrolling with mouse wheel and bar and will shift from side to side
2nd machine Windows 8.1 - IE .same.
Seems to be more jumpy on Edge. Chrome is perfect, FireFox great except that embedded problem.
If you can not duplicate the problem i can send you a screen recording.

Thanks for testing. A screen recording that'd be super helpful - if you could also create a ticket and attach that to it to send it to our support team it also be really helpful:
