SSL enabling makes website unavailable

Hello there,

I hope you are well. I run this website - http://www.foodcoalition.scot/?X-OpenDNS-Session=_190a7c4d00c5604ceb0a7a4053ed10f980b19270fc4a_jw0dx... - Someone pointed out however that it was not secure (as you can see from the long link). I emabled SSL but when I enable it, all browsers on my laptop make block it and say 'secure connection failed'. However, it works fine on my phone and other laptop.

I have tried disabling, re-enabling, unpublishing, checked all the links/external code to make sure they are https but nothing is working. If i disable the SLL it works fine but the url is the above - which doesn't look right. It should just be https://www.foodcoalition.scot

Please help!

Many thanks

@whitemonkeymany thanks for the reply.

I have enabled the SSL now so it is secure - https://www.foodcoalition.scot/

However when i try to go on it, I get the below message (on Firefox but similar on different browsers)

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.foodcoalition.scot. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

@StarkRSPB

If you have just switched to SLL, it needs some time to propegate

Admin staff   can check it's all set up right  @Adam @Bernadette

Annoyingly the website still does not load on my laptop. Do you know how long this process should take?

I'm sorry for the frustration, @StarkRSPB The site is loading as secure for me on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Did you need to make changes to the DNS settings? Sometimes it can take up to 24-48 hours to fully update depending on the registrar.

Can you try clearing your browser cache and cookies? It's possible it's just cached for you, @StarkRSPB.
