Removing files and file elements

I am continuously having problems with deleting files such that they cannot be Googled and found in your upload area - which I do not have access to. I have removed the elements that the files were in as suggested in other posts, but still the upload URL finds them. I have sent a number of requests to have a specific file removed recently via your "contact us" help function but have had no response for a number of days. This is causing me some significant issues with clients who can still see out of date or unwanted material of theirs on my website which I seem to have little control over.

Hi @daviesje

Thanks very much for removing the file. Although, it does seem odd in these days of data protection etc. that files I remove are still accessible from your download server to anyone Googling the file name - and I don't have direct access to my files there to remove them. Seems like something is wrong here.....

You're welcome, @daviesje

It would be more convenient for users to be able to access the files themselves, although I don't think this will be updated, unfortunately. I'm happy to pass your feedback along to the team for you.

Yes, if you could feed this back please. The key point is that so I can control access to certain documents I place them on a separate page that is not visible in my headers, is password protected, and I have "not visible" from search engines selected for that page - and it's good that you provide this functionality. However, this is only to find that anypne who knows the document title can readily Googe and find them as they are open to the internet from Weebly's upload server.
