Re-Sizing Images for Mobile

Hi - hoping someone can help.I have made every effort to make sure my image sizes on my dektop version are as optimised as possible, meaning I have specified the exact height/width etc to match the actual space they take up on the page which is around 200 pixels across. The problem is, when I check the mobile version, they are not big enough to fill the space and in order for it to look OK it requires me to resize them all to approx 230 pixels horizontal to fit.

Aside from going in and resizing each and every photo (and there are hundreds and hundreds of them across the site) are there any other options available to me to ensure the images repurpose themselves in the mobile version?

@Re-Made:  I don't know the easy way, but in future make those images larger.  You can always make them smaller by shrinking the image window.
