Product Thumbnails not Displaying in Order Notificatio

...or in any other place where it should be visible. I have it selected that Thumbnails should show next to the product name as I do not instantly know what each product is without seeing a photo of it making it VERY inconvenient to fulfill orders.

1.The product thumbnail for sold items will not show in the automated email “order notification”. See Below

image

It also will not show in the Weebly app. It appears as a blank white square that sits to the left of product name. See below

It also does not show up in my Shipstaion account where I print labels. As you can see no problem with Etsy (top photo) but Weebly displays no photo (bottom photo)

Ok, that should be the newest version. Hmm... I wonder if it's an app cache issue. Try deleting the app by opening the Settings app and going to General > iPhone Storage, tapping on the Weebly app, then using Delete App.

Thanks for your post, @Lisa46360. Product images are not included on order notification emails by design right now, so the setting you used in your Store won't affect those. I'm guessing this is also the case with Shipstation in that we probably aren't providing the image. That is odd with the app, though, since it should be showing the images there. Can you check to see if you have the newest version of the app installed?

I was afraid you were going to say that this wasn’t a feature Weebly offers... every time that’s the answer.

I’m assuming it is the newest one since my apps auto update.

At least I can see them in the app which is better than not at all.

I highly suggest (not in a jerky way but to be helpful) Weebly developers create an Etsy Seller account (free) to get an idea of what sellers like myself need. The original Etsy developers really did a good job on the interface design & functionality as well as the shop design itself. Hands down Etsy is the most user friendly, smooth functioning ecommerce site currently out there & I’ve used them all.

I think Weebly is great overall in the web builder market for sure but sometimes it’s the small things that can make or break a website. If you expect to attract & retain high volume sellers, functionality is a must.

1. Simple search function (especially since we don’t have 3 - 5)

2. Product images should always be linked to product sku & title EVERYWHERE.

3. Sorting products by new/old low/high is necessary if we can’t have #1,4, or 5

4. More control over category page aesthetic/ design is necessary especially since without #5 the shopper is forced to pick a category page to go back to shopping.

5. Adding to cart should give you option of “continue shopping” instead of confusing shopper who can’t get back to where they were originally browsing (Etsy doesn’t do good in this department either) especially since we don’t have #4 to control the amount of ridulous that this page looks to viewers.

6. Mobile Apps should be separated. One app for shop only processes. Another app for iOS friendly editing. These are two completely different things & cant be easy to consolidate good function in just one app.

Theres more but these are the ones on my mind. I have already voted and suggested these but honestly I feel they should just be on the priority to do list regardless of a vote or suggestion. Weebly would be on top overnight as far as diy web builders go just by adding a handful of upgrades... we need at least one of the numbers 1,3,4,or 5 to be even reasonably successful. Although #4 is the least important of 1,3, & 5
