Mobile Nav bar only visible when scrolling on iPhone

Hey,

Looking for some help please - my mobile nav bar is only visible when I scroll on an iPhone. It's no available/visible as the page loads. It works perfectly on an Android phone so issue is just limited to iPhone.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Site is www.house-event.ie

Thanks

Hi @Gracie. Thanks for reaching out. I was able to confirm what you are seeing- works on Android, not on iOS, however, it's very possible this is due to the custom theme. The only way to confirm for sure would be to change the site to a Weebly theme, publish, and check if it is still displaying incorrectly. I definitely suggest making a copy of the site and switching the theme on the copy site first.

Hi Bernadette,

Thanks for coming back to me on that. Have tried switching themes and it still won't work. On older versions of iPhone the hamburger/menu is not even clickable so I can't access the navigation. I was originally using the Redux theme but have tried switching to other themes and still no luck. This is the case for all themes I've tried.

Any help would be really appreciated,

Thanks

Grace

Did you switch it back to your custom theme? We can have advanced tech support test it out, but that will most likely be the first thing they look at. Also, I'm not seeing a copy site? If you switch the theme of the copy site can you let us know the url? Thanks so much! We'll get this sorted somehow. Smiley Happy

Hi Bernadette,

Yes, I switched the theme back as it was the version that worked best at the moment.

The copy site is called House 2018 test and is on the designer platform. It is using the Redux theme which has not been customised in any way. The url for the preview of the site is

http://preview.editmysite.com/j68f5c.a932cc7a346fe10e9d5de81a8a6c2f54

In this version, it works fine on Android but on iphone the hampurger menu is no clickable and does not open the navigation and also the site does not reduce in size to fit the screen.

Thanks again for your help,

Grace

I wonder if the preview bar is causing the custom theme's navigation to have issues on iPhones. If you temporarily make a new preview using a standrad theme, does it work fine?

Hi Adam,

I haven't customised the the,e in any way in that preview. I have also published it without any customisation to cngtesting.weebly.com and this also does no work on an iPhone, again no issues with Android.

Thanks,

Grace

Sorry for delay @Gracie!! Smiley Sad On the test site I confirmed that the navigation is showing on Android and iOS. Are you able to post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end?

Hi Bernadette,

On the testing site the hamburger menu isn't clickable for me on iOS. On the other site it's not visible on iOS until you scroll down the page as per the pic below.

Being a custom theme is going to make it difficult to troubleshoot, unfortunately. Your best bet would probably be to switch to the original, standard version of the the theme and then re-do your edits one at a time to see which one is the culprit.

It's doing the double click on Android apk as nicely.. Maybe that is a function of that specific topic? I've in no way heard all of us deliver it up earlier than, or maybe they just failed to word.
