How to switch a free site to upgrade site?

Hello Admin,

I created a Free Site under the Paid Site in Weebly. Now I'd like to upgrade the free one to pro plan. What should I do now? Please guide me step by step to make my site running without Weebly Ad.

Questions:

1. I'd like to rename the site address so how can the new address shows up when people access from old address?

2. If I upgrade a annual plan, I have $19.99 for domain credit. Will I have use that credit to buy my domain name which I renamed it earlier or my domain is already registered when I upgrade it with Weebly?

3.If not, how can I connect my domain to Weebly? 

I thougt when I upgrade my free site is all set but after reading several posts in Weebly Community. It made me so confusing. Please let me what should I do. I really would like my site turns to pro site without ".weebly" in address site as soon as possible. Thank you!

1. When you change your site address from a free subdomain to a custom domain, we automatically forward traffic from the old subdomain to your custom domain.

2. The credit can be used to register a new domain name, or to pay for transferring a custom domain from a different registrar to us. 

3. if you already registered a domain somewhere else, see our guide on using a domain purchased elsewhere for instructions on how to set it up to work with your site.
