How to block an abusive person's email in submission forms?
Hi everyone,
Someone I know is using my website as a way in which to personally abuse me through my submission forms. Is there any way to block a certain email address from submitting?
Thanks a lot

I don't think there's any way to block email addresses but you could find and block their IP address (if they aren't using a VPN). That way they won't be able to access any part of your website. You do this by using the IP Approval app. It's available in the App Centre.
Hope this helps, Gary.

Hi @wrighthealth You can find the IP address by clicking on Website > Overview > Form Entries, then the individual entry. You will see the IP in the top right corner of the screen.

Hi again, Bernadette. Actually, it didn't work. Would it have something to do with the fact that my domain name is hosted elsewhere? If so, is there still a way to block her. I'm still getting daily diatribes from her. Thanks.

Hey there. No, your domain name shouldn't have any affect on the app. 🤔 Did you use one of the IP blocker apps in the App Center like IP Approval?
