How give .pdf

I would like to put a .pdf on my site that customers can download, I do not want to charge for this I want it to be free. 

Is there a way to do this? Without me having to email it to them?

Thanks for posting again, @JennyPat. The easiest way to do that is to just link to the PDF with a button or text link, and use the file option to upload your PDF.

Thank you. In the future I want to have .pdf tutorials for sale, what is the best way to do that?

OK I tried this and it didn't work. The page I want to add it to is for my "Polymer clay Tools & tutorials" Which is a category that my header links to under "shop"  The Page does not allow me to add a section. I added the .pdf under "items" and it is "unavailable" because there is no price. PLUS I don't see where I can upload the file under "items" 

Help?

It sounds like you created this as a store item. There wouldn't really be a way to add this to the category page or as an item, so you'll to either make a separate page and use a button and text link on that, or add a section to a different regular page of your site and use a text/button link on that.
