How do I integrate my existing store into Instagram?

In the Facebook store manager area, Weebly isn't in the drop down menu of options. I'd like to sell on Instagram and Facebook, but cannot figure out how to get my existing weebly store to show up on either platform. Thanks!

Thanks for posting. It's not possible to integrate your site/store with Facebook or Instagram using the older editor. You would need to create a new account with our Square Online editor and rebuild the site if this is something you are interested in. https://squareup.com/us/en/online-store

Could you let me know if that's what I need to do also? I can't integrate my site / store with Facebook/Instagram either...
My site URL is www.froginthecraft.com, and I have only just upgraded my weebly site to the business type account.

1) I can't choose the website catalog on Facebook because Weebly or Square is not an option.

2) Trying to set up Messenger on the site but it's telling I don't have a business page linked to my Facebook account. I can't work out why because I definitely have a business page.

3) When I go to the Facebook Ads manager from the link on the website under the Ads menu option, it re-directs to the wrong Ads account. In fact it looks like it's created a new account?? Anyway it redirects to one where there is no business page linked - eventhough th epixel ID I have put in the integrations menu option is the business pixel.

Totally and utterly confused, I am starting to regret having gone to Weebly now to get my store set up, and I am risking losing out on sales... which I really cannot afford! I have sent an email asking for support, but have yet to receive some sort of response...

Thanks for your post, @Froginthecraft.

1. Direct syncing between Weebly and Facebook is currently only possible for Square Online sites, and to make one of those you'll need to click on the "Online" link in your Square dashboard and make a new site.

2 and 3. Are you logged into a Facebook account which is an admin on a Business page? It sounds like from what you are seeing that you may be logged into an account which isn't an admin of the Facebook page.

Thanks @Adam

So for point No1, what happens with the Weebly website / store that I've started putting together? I'm sorry but I don't understand how that works? What about the money I paid for the Weebly site? It would be good if that was explained right at the start...

For point 2 and 3, yes I am the admin to my page. My account (the one with my name) shows as the admin. Also in the business manager everything is grouped together from Facebook page, Instagram account, WhatsApp, etc etc...

I'll go and check it again - I mean I have checked it plenty of times already but 1 more won't hurt - but if I wasn't admin then I wouldn't be able to make changes to it, and yet I can.

Just to show that I am the admin.

Thanks

Oh and also point 3 looks like it's sorted itself out as it seems to be pointing to the correct ads account now.

Glad to hear your ads are working and thanks for verifying that you're logged into an admin profile. Hmm... I think something may be broken for you. I tested and saw the same as you and my own personal Facebook profile is also an admin on several pages. I would contact our support team so they can triage and escalate it to our engineers.

Ok @Adam

I will do that.

Could you reply to point No1 also please?

What happens to the Weebly site I started once I start a new one on Square? And more importantly, is it going to cost me more when I create a new site over on Squares, now that I have just upgraded to business on Weebly?

Thanks

Not a problem! If you choose to create a Square Online store, then we can transfer over any paid services so you don't need to pay again. If you're using a custom domain with the site we can also help you switch which site is using that.

Ah ok Great 🙂 Yes to both - paid services (business account) and to custom domain,...

I guess I'll just get on with it then, and ask for help if / when I need it.

Thanks

Well, the problems have started already...
So I've gone and unpublished my website whilst I'm sorting it out.

Then went on Square to start the new site, chose the 3rd option on the 1st screenshot. That took me to the window on the 2nd screenshot. Then when I clicked on the logging in here" link, it took me back to Weebly dashboard.
So I deactivated my Square account thinking that I would then be able to start from the beginning again. However I was wrong. Now when I try and start creating a website on Square, my account is still there so I can't re-register and start afresh. Instead I get to the 3rd screenshot when I start creating a website or to the 4th screenshot when I just log in.

I am getting so frustrated and stressed with all this now. I really don't have the time to waste on this and I certainly don't have the money either. I was supposed to launch the website officially last week but now, as it's taking so long to get it sorted, I'm probably two weeks behind schedule and I am behind on my current orders also.
The email support I received on this wasn't worth the time it took me to send the email in the first place.
Could I please get some clear instructions on how to sort this mess out as quickly as possible?

Thanks

I have also sent a support request to the Square Support Team just now, to try and get help ASAP.

Weebly is owned by Square so you will still see the dashboard when you are using the new editor. Unfortunately, you will need to contact Square support in order to have the account reactivated. We're not able to do that from our end, but it sounds like you have already started the process by reaching out to them. Once the account is reactivated you will be able to re-access the new editor and build your site. We can also move the services over for you once you have started to build the new site.
