How do I get product reviews
many of my customers will go to my website then contact me directly for orders...Is there any way I can get them to give product reviews when they dont order it through the store.

Thanks for the response.
Most of the time people phone me after going to my website or email me directly as it is in my footer on all pages. Then I send them a quote & the deal is done via bank account or pay pal request if they want to pay by card.
Adding an app to my website to get reviews on the products defeats the purpose of weebly having it at all.
It would be good if weebly could generate a generic email so I could send to my customers where they would be able to review the product they purchased.
I have been trying to process an order on my website with the customers credit card details but give up after 2 days because after the pay pal direction back to my weebly site it sais there is nothing in the shopping cart & does not go to the page to complete the order. So therefore I end up just sending a pay pal request for payment & the order does not go through the website. Not sure if this a pay pal redirection problem or a weebly problem. I have done it this way for the last 3 years but now seems problematic.
The redirection from weebly to pay pal went to a screen that gave me the option to log into pay pal or pay by card.
Now weebly redirects to a pay pal page where there is no card option just log in or create an account. If i hit the back button on my tablet pay pal I then get the option to pay by card. Pay pal recognises the order that has been processed via the weebly website & I complete the payment details. After completing the payment it redirects back to weebly & sais there is no items in my shopping cart. There is no option to complete the website order as there once was.

We have a really cool product review feature that is built-in, although your customers would need to buy through your online store in order for it to work. When they contact you do you send them to a product in your store so they buy it that way, or do you handle the whole transaction outside of your site? I thought you weren't actually using our store features for the transaction.

As for your checkout trouble; I think hitting back on your tablet is causing some info to get lost. I think there's an option within your PayPal account to turn on credit card payment.

Hi Adam
Speaking of product reviews, is there a way of manually sending the product review request email to customers and disabling Weebly from automatically sending it? I have customers receiving product review emails when they have refunded or cancelled the items they purchased, and they're finding it a little irrelevant.
Can you please advise me on how to disable the automatic feature?

Hi @Amanda94 It looks like you still have the ability to manually send the reviews for the past 30 days. If you click on the order you should see the Request Review button.

Are you trying to do that with older orders that were placed before you enabled the feature, @angelabquinn, or new orders you've received since you turned it on?

Ok - those should get sent out automatically based on the time frame you have set. Two weeks is default so it should automatically send them for you two weeks after the orders were placed.

Sorry, @Amanda94 I think I misunderstood you. You want the ability to turn off the 2, 3, 4 week auto send, but still have the ability to manually send the review?

One of my customers received the automatic review email however one products review link was broken but the other products review link worked. Is there a way for me to resend a review email to them so they are able to post a review?

I am able to see my product review but what my customer wrote does not show up under the product, only the stars. Is there a way to show what she wrote?! Thanks!
