How do I edit the background image in the checkout page?

This seems to have been a problem for years. Is there really no work around yet? Before I delete all the images on all pages and reload (which was suggested in another thread) can you say if that actually works?

Which thread are your referring to, @kaa2020 It's not possible to edit the checkout page at this time.
