How do I edit store email subject lines

Really struggling to edit the store email subject lines is there a trick I'm missing?  Currently the default for Order Confirmed is "Your download is ready".

Actually the whole editing all of the store emails seems to be pretty tricky, when I've found everything else pretty simple.  Any advice?

It isn't possible right now to edit subject lines of emails, however that subject line is only used for purchases of digital items. It will say something different for orders that are pickup, delivery, shipping, etc.

Can you add the ability to change the subject line of order confirmation emails?

In looking at past posts, it seems like this request has come up many times but never acted on.

I moved your post over to this thread, @ckc2012 It's not possible to edit the subject line for the store emails at this time, unfortunately.

Has there been any progress with this? The wording on the subject lines really doesn't suit my messaging. Would like a work around asap. Thanks

Agreed. My website has a donation option only (we don't sell any stuff) so I'd like it to say Thank you for your DONATION rather than ORDER
