How do I create an event page
I am stumped, I want to create a "Show Calendar" page. This page will have one of my own images at the top, then a list of events I will be attending in the upcoming year.
I have created the category page in my shop item list, added my photo there, and added my events. BUT when I go to my website it doesn't show up. Instead I get the stock image and events and cannot work out how to change them.
Edited: it's 2 hours since I first wrote this and I am ready to SCREAM!!!! I created these events in my item list, now it says they are "unavailable" these are NOT something I am going to sell, it's just a list of venues where my customers can find me in person........if this is going to be a regular occurance when trying to build my site I might just say "screw it!"
The first image is a screen shot of the catagory and items in my shop list.
This next screen shot is what shows on the website, notice there is no button to change the main image. The images button here refers to the images for the events listed.

The error message showing on the Edit Item page says "This item can't be sold online because it's not fulfillable at any of your locations. To fix this, make sure you have enabled In-Store Pickup for your locations, or modify the availability at those locations by going to your Square Dashboard." You can enable in-store pickup by clicking Store>Settings>Pickup. You will see a toggle to turn on the pick-up option. Or, you can verify the item is fulfillable on the Square dashboard. I can take a look for you if you like. Is it every event that you create, or do you have the issue with other item types as well?
As far as the image goes, are you referring to the main banner image? Clicking on the image should give you an option to edit/replace. Although, it looks like you may have already figured this out?

Thank you, but I have to tell you that I choose Weebly because it is connected to my Square account but I am finding this very confusing and not very user friendly. I am now condsidering looking for a different option to build my website. Plus if it takes more than 2 days to get an answer to every question I have, it will take me years not months to do this!!
In reference to my original question, your answer did NOT help. I see my image did finally come up, (after a couple days) I never was able to change the image, (that option is NOT available no matter how many times or way I try) I ended up hiding the header and creating a new section connected to the category in my product list. (where I had uploaded the image)
The events still show as unavailable. I made the change you suggested, but it seems that because I just want a list of dates and links, and DO NOT want to take payments is the problem. (It is JUST events that are my currrent problem, other items are fine)
IF you have any suggestions as to how to do this It would be greatly appreciated. I do not want YOU to go in a fix it, as it is something I need to know how to do myself in order to make changes in the future. (this is the problem with my current website, someone else created it, and I cannot make changes)

I completely understand the frustration. To answer the event question, you can have a free event, but a "price" needs to be added. If you put "0" and save, the item should allow you to mark as available. If it still shows as unavailable, you may need to toggle on the checkout link at the bottom of the item page on Square's end. Although, it sounds like you would rather have just text links, correct?

Yes I would like to just have text links, but how do I do that?? As I mentioned I am a rank beginner at this website stuff, and I am not finding any helpful tutorials.

In the editor you should see an option that says "Add Section". Once you click this you will see "Text" under the General options. Once added, click anywhere in the text section to open the layout panel on the left. In my example image, I choose an option that looks similar to your original website. You can add additional text groups for each section by clicking "Add Group". Edit the sample text to your own, then highlight to create a link.

Thank you! I FINALLY got it! I do wish there was a more intuitive faster way to find answers to my questions though.
I do have a question on the image. I added an image with text, but I can't seem to change the size of the title font. Is there a way to do that? Or should I just be happy with it as is?

Yay! Glad to hear the text option worked for you. As far as the image goes, if you cannot adjust the font to look the way you want, you can edit the image in photo software first and add the text onto the image.
Which picture is it? The one on your homepage?

No not on the homepage, I still need to work on that. I am talking about the image on my show calendar page. I was thinking I wanted the words "Show Calendar" above the image a bit larger, but it's OK as it is.

I am having similar issues with my event page. I have added the page, created my events. This is informative, no tickets will be sold. Why are these showing up in my shop now? I do not want them to appear there.

If you create an event item and do not have the visibility set to unavailable, it'll show up in the list of items on your Shop All page. There isn't really away to use it with an event page but also hide it from the shop all page. If you don't want anyone to be able to "buy" them, I would just create a standard page with info about the event and not use an actual store item.
