How do I brighten a custom themed header?
Hi!
So in the time of Corona and Stay at home orders I've undertaken some (what I thought to be) simple web updates for my personal portfolio and now need some help.
Below is a link to the blog I run from this site and as you can see the header is really dark.
https://samanthakclark.weebly.com/the-employment-chronicles
The image was created using photoshop and the colors look true on my computer when using that program as well as just opening the file as a .jpg. However once I've uploaded it to weebly it darkens to what you currently see. In the simple "edit image" function provided by weebly all of my editing fuctions are set to 0% (Zoom: 0%, Blur 0%, Darken 0% Filter 0%).
My Question: How do I lighten the header so that the colors are true (ex the white is white not grey)?
What I've tried: I've tried using some of the preset filters. I've tried some of the coding suggestions, but I'm not a knowledgable coder so I may be doing something wrong due to updates to weebly changing some of the capabilities.
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hi @SamKClark I'm pretty sure this is something that is theme related. If the option is not available to remove a header overlay under Theme>Theme Options, then the only choices would be to add a code override or switch themes. Have you tried searching on here for some possible code help?
