Get button on landing page to show the menu for options such as link, etc?
I have always been able to click on the button on my home page to edit it and now, when I click it nothing happens. I have tried using different internet browsers, creating a 'copy' of my home page and nothing works. I can get the drop down edit-menu for other buttons on other pages...just not my home page which is an issue because I need to change the link. Please help!

In order to troubleshoot your issue, we will need your site to be on a standard Weebly theme. Send me a PM once this has been done and I will take a look at it for you.

and what do you mean 'standard weebly theme'. I have a standard weebly theme and do not use my own themes if that's what you mean....

I was just scrolling through the themes and mine is listed under a bunch that say
Older Themes
None of these themes are responsive
Does this mean my theme won't work anymore and I have to redesign my whole website??? That would be ridiculous.

Hello @jk8
It appears that you edited the comment section of the blog or made other changes within the HTML/CSS section of your editor. I will need to switch this back to our original theme to be able to troubleshoot the button any further.

What is the 'original theme' you want me to switch to? Will I be able to get my same blog theme back after doing this??

Just to clarify @jk8
I will need to change your theme back to the original theme you had before you made changes in the HTML/CSS section. I am going to make a copy of your site. The copy will be for testing purposes. Your blog WILL BE BLANK in the copy. I will be able to switch it back to the original theme and see if that fixes the button. If it does then we will know it was the editing in the HTML/CSS that caused this break in our code.

Hello @jk8
I made a test site http://testtwohearts.weebly.com/ and it appears that the theme editing you did in the past is causing the conflict with the button options. If you notice on the test site I linked the button to your original site.
We can try to temporarily switch from the custom theme to our original, then link the button to the page of your choice and then switch back to your custom theme. If you would like but this may come with unexpected risks that I cannot predict. You will have to decide if you would like to try this.
I would also like to emphasize that if something goes wrong and your custom theme no longer works, our only course of action will be to revert back to an original theme. You may want to save multiple copies of your current custom theme just in case.
