Gallery pictures squished to square format

I've just uploaded a selection of images into a gallery as I do each month. When I open them up large I find they have all been mdistorted and made into a square shape rather than the usual landscape or portrait.

Do I have something set up wrong?

Hey @bishopphotoclub!

I see what you mean with some of your photos.  Since some are different ratios, try changing your Image Ratio setting to "none" to se if that helps.

Thank you very much, Adam. It doesn't seem to work retrospectively but I'll try reloading the images and see if that makes a difference.

Oops!

Sorry, Adam, I've wasted your time, I made the mistake by ticking the wrong box in my resizing and that's what made them square and squished. I thought I'd checked that before I contacted you.
