Downloadable video

I've upploaded some videos to a members page. I've not selected for them to be downloadable. On my laptop they are not but from my android phone they are. There is even a button that says download. See picture below. I don't want them to be dowloadble. Please help me solve this problem.

Hi Marika. I don't have an Android device, but to clarify you are saying that the video does not give an option to download on the website, but when viewed on an Android device you have the option? Does the video actually download, or does it stop the user if clicked on?

I think this is a known issue with the video element on Android devices; hopefully this is resolved soon. In the meantime, you could try using a video app from the App Center and see if that has better controls for you.

In regards to the download button being available when accessing the videos from an Android device using Chrome.
After making some research I've discovered you are using the video.js framework to display videos. However, when opening https://www.yogama.nu/test-page-for-weebly-thumbnails.html using an Android device with Chrome we can see that both the video.js player AND the built in html5-player is displayed on top of each other. Please see attached screenshots where I've made red rectangles on the first video where you can see double full screen-buttons, double timebar-buttons and double sound level-buttons.

Since the built in html5 player is displayed for some reason it also offers the user to click the "three dots" and download since there's no attribute saying it's not allowed. "
<video controls controlsList="nodownload">"
is required

So to summarize:
Either you need to fix so that only the video.js player is shown. OR you need to fix so that only the built in html5 player is shown with the proper attributes prohibiting downloads.

Thanks for the investigative work, @Yogama. If you haven't yet, I would contact our support team and provide them with that info so they can take it to our engineers.

I only wish Weebly support would do the same investigative work. I contacted them on the 21 of november. As I did with the issue that not all thumbnails are showing on lap tops. Unfortunately they haven't solved any of the problems yet. They suggest soulutions not related to my acctual problem. I've started to wonder if they even read my emails before they reply. It says that the suport service should get faster when you upgrade to pro. Can't say that it has.
