Difficulty changing color of headings

I found a great shade of dark green that I want to use for subheadings.  It worked out for the first few that I tried, but now it's giving me problems.  At first, I found the exact shade (#195405) and clicked on the little square with the color in it, next to the number of the shade.  Now I find that nothing happens when I click on that little square.  Plus the color that I choose doesn't stay there.  I'll go back to change another heading, and it's gone to another color, a smaller selection, etc.  I must be missing something.

- What is the exact process for changing the color of some text?

- How do I save a color that I like so that I can use it again?

Thank you.

Hi, @Cyathea!

Sorry to hear that the font editor is giving you trouble. Here are the instructions you need to follow: https://hc.weebly.com/hc/en-us/articles/201505666-Edit-Fonts (You'll need to scroll a bit to see the part about color.)

You may also want to try clearing your browser cache (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache).

Please let me know if it still doesn't work. I'm happy to check on this further for you.

Thanks,

Erin

Hi Erin,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I watched the video, but the information given tells how to change the color of the font for the entire site.  I want to change just the color of the subheadings on the pages.  I don't wish to change the paragraph text, etc.  I was able to change several subheadings to the new color, then it stopped working.

Hey!

If you let me know what site you're working on, I'll take a look to see if I can figure out what is preventing this from working.

Thanks,

Erin

Thanks, Erin.  I bumbled into it somehow and my headings are fine now.  When I make up my site manual, I'll recreate what I did and record the steps for the future.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier.
