Desktop vs mobile view

Hi everyone,

I recently created a website using weebly - www.3fr.com.au

The website looks great when i view on a desktop, however when viewing on a mobile, I have noticed alot of photographs, paragraphs, buttons etc are not aligned. There are some big gaps in the middle of paragraphs. Some of the photographs appear bigger than others on the page. Overall looks very messy on mobile view. If anyone can advise how I can fix these issues, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey @Kayla!

I took a look at the text, and it looks like the spaces are also on the site editor. Will you take a look? If you delete the space behind "with professionalism" it will bring it back up the the line with "contacts."

Thanks,

Erin

Hi, there!

I've seen this before, and it has to do with the size of your images before you upload them to Weebly. I suggest making sure all of your photos are consistent size and ratios, and then uploading them to your site.

When it comes to the text - is this text that you are copying and pasting from other sources?

Thanks,

Erin

Hi Erin,

Thank you. I will look into this now. As for the text, no it is all freely typed. Thanks.

headings are dark red in colour for my CV page. however on the mobile view all except the first heading is black. as you can imagine one heading for a resume different from the others looks strange.

Hmm... Did you paste in a lot of this text, @nandita? I'm wondering if some styling was included with it. Try doing this:

1. Select all of the text in an element, then click the Tx button

2. Select the heading text and and change the styles to bold and the red color you like

3. Republish

It would be handy if weebly had the correct dimensions displayed in the picture box when dragging into place to suggest the best working sizes. Otherwise it's just guesswork. and a waste of time.
