Thanks for posting, @Jeffp. There isn't a way to actually delete it, but you can un-publish the site by going to Website > General Settiings, scrolling down, then using the un-publish option there.

Hellow Adam,

There has to be a way for a user to delete an account perminently by CA law standards. I have seen that their used to be a Delete Button. The reason I'm requesting to Delete my Account Permanently is found the platform unuseful to any of my needs. I wil be paying for my website to be create professionally and wont have a use for Un-publish. Please don't reply with an general unpublishing option. Also what are the justification of not deleting option?

Can you contact our support team about that, @4araiza? They can help you get a request escalated to have your data removed.

Adam,

I, too, would like to delete my Weebly account. Surely you know that's messed up if a customer no longer wants to have an account with a company and the company does not allow the customer to delete the account. What reasonable (or legal) explanation is there for this?

Thank you. And stay safe during these pandemic times.

Hi @meh The other poster on this thread has a different account type. You can delete your account by clicking the dropdown in the top right corner of the dashboard. Then click Account>My Data and choose the option that says "Erase Data & Forget Me"

Why do people respond with answers that have literally NOTHING to do with the question?? I, too, want to PERMANENTLY DELETE MY WEEBLY ACCOUNT. Not just disable or unpublish it, or delete individual pages. PERMANENTLY DELETE THE ENTIRE ACCOUNT. I don't know why that should be so difficult. All Weebly needs to do is provide a button that says DELETE ACCOUNT. This does not take much intellect to figure out. But when I go searching for the answer, a list comes up with literally everything under the sun EXCEPT how to get rid of the account! And then they wonder why people don't want to stick with Weebly. Maybe if they were more user friendly and responded better to customer requests, they'd have fewer people cancelling their accounts.
