Decimal Point gone

Hi,

trying to add a item at 0.04 of a kg in wieght on mywebsite, but the decimal point function in the wieght field has gone...

What I am selling are small items, not KG's worth.... This function worked on the 2nd of July, which is when I last added a item.

Help!

Hi Adam,

solved, many thanks.... so the . or dot is no longer accepted in the field, must use a , or comma.

I was looking at my screenshots and notice a comma on the existing items, created on or prior to 2nd of July.

I have always typed the dot or fullstop key in the year or so I have been using weebly.

Something changed?

Anyway, many thanks

James.

Hi,

I posted this before, but is there any way of someone looking at why decimal points are now no longer accepted in the "Weight" field.

Exmaple, I sell small items, and for postage purposes a individual item is usually 0.04kg or 40 grams...

Now, I can't add the . or point... so it only accepts the 4 or the 0.

This function worked on my weebly site on the 2nd of July 2021, but as of the 6th of July 2021 it has disappeared.

This is a major issue as postage then cannot be caculated correctly for my customers when I add a new item.

Can anyone help?

All the best

James.

Thanks for posting about this, @Jamesnz

What item are you trying to enter that weight for, and have you contacted our support team about this yet?

Hello Adam, I reside in France, so was hoping to contact someone on-line, and new to the community I wasn't sure where I need to post issues like I am experiencing.

Its on all new items I want to add.
Existing items, like I added on the 2nd of July still have the correct weight format which I used at time of creating them.

Above: Here is a screenshot, showing the decimal point added on a item created on the 2nd of July.image

Above: Here is a acreenshot of the field this morning. As mentioned, it only accepts whole numbers, so 0.04 of a kg now bcomes 4kg.

All the best

James

Nice find, @Jamesnz. I'm not aware of any changes with that in specific. What is the normal way to write decimals in France?
