Category pages still not working, please help
Hi, I built our site mostly using category pages because we have so many products (stitching supply shop). Now if I try to add a new category page, Weebly will choose another page already on my website, copy it and not allow me to rechoose the category I need. I saw in some of the other posts that the "solution" was to use a standard page, but this means an extra click for the customer and a silly looking page with only one item on it. This is not a good user experience. The category icon on which to click to see the category items. One person that was experiencing this issue was on an old platform and was told that this could be fixed. Please fix mine too? -- Thank you.

Automatically duplicates this page
If I try to choose a new category, it hangs while trying to load the list of categories.

Thanks for reaching out. I reindexed the site for you to see if that helps. It may also be a good idea to try using a different browser in private or incognito mode.
If you are still running into the error, I recommend reaching out to our support team directly to see if a rep is able to escalate this for you.
You can reach the team by scrolling to the bottom of our Help Center and clicking the contact us button. Once you see the automated chat window try typing something like "speak with a rep" to be directed to the teams available to your account.

I'm not sure if the reindex solved the issue, but I can try it for your site. Can you please confirm the site name?

Hi Bernadette, Not sure if you have tried to help previously - www.liiartsa.com.au
I have tried so many different things but nothing seems to be able to do what adding category pages did. I have tried adding standard page and using the add category button but that also creates more dramas as it links to the old category once it is published. I need to be able to edit the page of a category, and without the old add category page feature that no longer seems to work on this particular weebly page, I can't do it. Email help just can't understand and I get generic basic responses. I did get really angry and upset from the frustration I am expreiencing. I am thinking maybe I should recreate my whole website just so I can add category pages, but someone told me that function is no longer supported but couldn't explain why it is still a feature on the theme pages. I'll give this one last go before deciding what I should do. Is is easier for me to create a whole new site and transfer the pro status to that new page (apart from the fact my site is huge and detailed)? Will the grandfathered status still be applicable on the recreated page? And no increase in charges? Thanks
