Can anyone explain how you were able to get captions to show under the image when viewed in gallery?

This was asked, answered, and archived. I need to know because when I insert Text element into gallery to go under thumbnail the text box is outside gallery and I cannot get it inside. And can I hyperlink the text?

 I need lightbox to pop up image in viewable size and also need the image to be hyperlinked--cannot see how to do both--what's the secret?  Thanks.

It's possible to tweak where the caption shows with some CSS customizations, but there isn't really a way to add links to the captions themselves. Have you checked out any of the Gallery options in the App Center? It's possible that a third party app might have the features you need:
