Blocked sites China

Hi. I am aware that certain sites in China are blocked, e.g. Youtube. If I put in a youtube video (using the weebly youtube icon from the builder drag and drop) in my website, would this be detected and blocked or is it my website URL which is of interest?

I'm not 100% sure @vchuk68. I would think that if the Youbtube url is blocked then the video in your website would also be blocked since the content is pulled from the Youtube servers.

All Weebly sites are blocked in China and as per the customer service rep I just spoke with they have no plans to remedy this situation.

This seems to be a recent thing. Our corporate website used to load, albeit slowly, in China.  But now that no one can see it, we are abandoning Weebly for Webflow, which is viewable in China and not blocked by the Great Firewall.

I am not sure about before, but it came to my attention that it wasn't working in China this Jan 2020.....

Is there any other co that I can use that is not blocked in China? I am done with Weebly. Does Weebly even mention this on their site?
