Audio not playing on live site but is in the editor

Hi all, I've put on some audio files to the long descriptions on some products (Run For Cover Vinyl and CD). It plays back fine in the editor but isn't playing on the live site. Example is below. I'm not a developer so some clear steps to help recitify this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@zeetothea The audio file that is associated with that player is located here:

https://stefantaylorsinger.com/uploads/1/3/3/4/133442036/02-stefan_taylor___the_signatures-run_for_c...

You'll see that, if you click this, the mp3 file won't load in the browser indicating a problem with that file. I'd suggest that you greatly simplify the mp3 filename and keep it simple (regular text, numbers, and hyphens - nothing else and definitely no special characters). In the case of the audio file above, try renaming the mp3 file to something like this: 02-stefan-taylor-the-signatures-run-for-cover.mp3 and then upload that simplified name file to the audio element. The Weebly audio element itself has no issues with playing proper mp3 files (and, as I say, your uploaded file in the link above should natively be able to play in the browser so the fact that it doesn't indicates either a file problem or a file naming problem).

Welcome to the Community, @zeetothea.

I see what you're saying - it doesn't seem to play for me, either. If you add the audio element to a regular page of your site, does it work?

Thanks for replying! I've tried adding to a regular page and it still doesn't playback on the live site.

Thanks for your reply. I tried again by uploading the file with a shorter file name and this has solved the issue. Thanks very much for your help! Smiley Happy
