Adding Email with Google Apps

I am attempting to add an email address to the website with Google Apps, however, I receive an error stating "This domain has an apps account controlled by Google or another apps reseller."

The Weebly website allowed me to create the domain name so it seems as though it was already unique.

Any insight would be appreciated.

That message means that you or a previous owner of the domain name signed up for Google Apps somewhere else already, so you won't be able to sign up for it through us.  Sorry!

Please see this guide in our Help Center on regaining access to Google Apps:

Hi Adam,

Im having the same problem. Ive signed up for a G Suite before with my domain and the article you gave with link in it - doesnt recognise my domain name of iflowproductions ie https://admin.google.com/IFLOWPRODUCTIONS/VerifyAdminAccountPasswordReset

When I use this link it gives me the following error;

Server error

Sorry, you've reached a login page for a domain that isn't using G Suite. Please check the web address and try again. Learn more

When I click on LEARN MORE I get the following;

If you get an error saying you've reached a login page for a domain that isn't using your Google service (such as G Suite or Cloud Identity), it means you're trying to sign in to a managed Google account that doesn't exist or isn't currently available.

Can you please advise how I can fix this.  Its really unprofessional not to be able to have your domain as your email address.  I cant contact G Suite for support without having an Admin account and I dont want to have to pay someone.  Does Weebly not have a relationship with Google?  And how can another service access to my domain name that I cant use it to create an email address?  Sorry for the long message but its really frustrating and I dont know where to go to from here.

It looks like your G Suite services is currently expired, @iflowpro

Try these steps to reactivate that:

1. Log into your Weebly.com account.
2. Click on the Google Apps tab.
3. Click the Enable Email button.
4. On the popup window, confirm the email address(es) to renew.
5. Click the green Purchase button.
6. You should be good at this point.

If you encounter any errors on step #5 above you'll need to go to your Billing > Payment Methods tab and remove the current saved cards shown there. Then go back to step #2 and retry the renewal process.

Thanks for posting, @figandplum. That means that the domain was set up with G Suite already, either through Google directly or through another company that was a reseller of Google. In that situation it is not possible to then set up G Suite through us. You can regain access to G Suite and use it directly with Google, though.

Thanks for your response Adam. the issue is when I use the Google recovery link I receive an error that says: "Your account has not been verified. Ask your G Suite administrator to verify the domain associated with your account."

Problem is I cannot verify the domain as i cannot login to the G Suite console. I am therefore stuck. I also cannot add the domain as a secondary domain on my other domain's G Suite account.

So i am now stuck. I have tried to close down the exisiting G Suite account on my other domain in case that was the cause of the issue - but Google states the subscription needs to be cancelled through Weebly - but I can find no way to do this.

Could you please advise?

Thanks.

Verifying the domain is done by adding a DNS record to the domain or by adding a META tag to a website that the domain loads. Take a look at the guide I linked - it will have instructions so you can verify the domain.

Thanks Adam - this is now sorted by signing up through Google directly.

I am now trying to remove the G-suite account set up against fig-and-plum.co.uk, but cannot do this through the G-Suite Admin console as they refer me to the reseller Weebly. But in the Weebly domain management there is no option to cancel the subscription and therefore cancel the G-Suite account. A message saying "This G Suite account is currently being configured. Check back soon to manage your email accounts." is visible but this has been showing for over a week now, so don't believe this is actually doing anything. How do i cancel the G-Suite subscription set up through Weebly?

Thanks.

I can remove the service from your account but it won't actually remove it within our Reseller console with Google. Can you contact our support team about that, @figandplum? You may get redirect to the Square support site to do this, but if you contact via that support site it can get routed to the right team to end the service directly at Google.
