Switching between Pro site and Free site

Hi,

I have a production www site up and running (under construction), and i worked on another 'free' site. Now that the site is ready, I'd like to switch them up. However, because the free one cannot use www. domain, i wonder how I can switch those two sites?

Good idea with working on a copy... this is always what we recommend too in order to avoid impact to your live website.

You have two options. if you delete your current website on your pro account it should revert for you automatically... This however may not be favourable in case you want to keep your current live website as a backup. 

If you get in touch with Weebly support they should be able to swap it over for you

Do you know how long it would take for my free site to become 'Pro' once I delete 'Pro' page? Is it instant?

I honestly dont know that one. I have never personally tried it.. the idea of deleting a site I pay for frightens me (the OCD in me kicking in about never deleting anything)

I raised a suggestion on the community about this a few weeks ago to have the option to switch and the response was if you delete it you will automatically get the option to switch so I can only assume.it will.be instant. 

However my preference would be to always ask weebly to do this for you... Even if it isnt instant if anything does go wrong you haven't left yourself in a pickle by deleting a website.

I would give a better answer if I knew it truthfully but I have never tried the deleti your site option.

I'm having a similar problem. I made a new version of my website heliocity.fr using the Weebly site editor. Now I'd like to switch to this being my pro site. Can you help me make the migration? Right now the new one is under the free plan, and I can't see how to swap it with the pro plan currently attached to the old site.

I have the same request. I have three different sites on the same account and now I need "Brandsektionen NY" to be PRO and "Svenska Brandsektionen" to be FREE.
