How do I set up a banner?

I have set up a website for our nonprofit and we just finalized our logo. We'd like to set this up on our website's banner. When I do upload it, its very small. 

I'm not a graphic designer or an expert web person. What do I need to do so the logo is readable and looks nice along the banner instead of the text?

Our website is: www.longswamphistory.org and I've attached our logo which is a 3300x2550 jpg file.

Hi @K_C

I think the issue is that the file is too large. The theme you are using is a variant of Clean Lines and the max logo size is 999x999. If you upload a file large than this it will automatically resize it. 

Try logging into the editor and hovering over the logo. You should see a small blue square in the bottom right corner of the logo which you can drag larger or smaller with your mouse. 

Once you are happy with the size you can publish, and the live site should update. 

If that doesn't work, I suggest resizing the image in photo software first so that it is smaller than 999x999.
