Is it possible to registrar a .nz domain on weebly?

When I try to register a domain name (thepaintfactory.nz)
weebly says it is not available but on domain providers websites it is. 
Can you please help me clarify if I can register this domain when I update to a business plan. 

Transferring the domain name also seems not to be possible for a .nz

It is quite important to me to have a domain with the full name of our business and not a uncommon format like.org 

Is there any way this can be done.

We have .co.nz available for domains, but not .nz, and we can only transfer in .com, .org, or .net at this time.

Am I right in thinking that if I bought a domain in the format .co.nz then I woud not be able to link this with my website?

Yes, if you bought a .co.nz with another registrar you would be able to connect it to your Weebly site. You would need to update the domain's dns settings so that the A-record points to your Weebly site IP. 

I see one Starter site in your account and the IP address you will use is: 199.34.228.50

Where did you register your domain, @somastudios? They probably have instructions on how to update DNS records for your domain.
