Table app/element

Has anyone else added the table element to their website?  I use my site as a high school teacher and having the ability to use the table to organize the information I post is key.  However, this table app is a pain to use.  You cannot tab through it, and the amount of times I have to attempt to click in a cell to get it off the "table settings" popup and actually allow me to type is incredibly frustrating.  Am I not working with this app correctly or does everyone else experience this same frustration?

Sorry to hear that, @stewartbio. What browser do you use to edit your site normally?

I use google chrome or safari.  Safari has more problems with it than chrome.

Have you tried FireFox? I don't know that it would help in this case, but it's worth a shot to see.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have three pages of tables to insert and I'm dreading it. any other app and I could just cut and paste them but oh no, I have to create new tables and try to type or paste the info in after getting rid of that **bleep** table settings box. And then it won't allow me to leave a blank box so I end up having to put 2 stars in it! Looks stupid! There REALLY has to be an alternative surely?

What format is your source table in? Some spreadsheet programs will let you export to HTML, which could then be included on a site using the Embed Code element.

Hi,

I've just joined Weebly, and yes from my other provider, the table app is really VERY unuser friendly. Tables are as we know, often used and really should be an important feature that would improve on Weebly end user - the client
