Appointments: Import/export CSV files for Services

Is there a way to import/export CSV files for services yet. I seen it on several threads but the date was 3/2018. Was just hoping they have a solution for this so I dont have to re enter all the information

@HotCityMama There isn't a way to import or export Services to a CSV file yet I'm afraid. I've moved your request to our Feature Request board so we can track this and post updates.

 

Are you looking to import services from another provider or from another Square account? Any extra information we can provide will help the Appointments team!

How can I export my Service Items? There no action button for "service Items".

Yeah, sorry about that. We're tracking the need for an export action button for the Services Library. Moving you to this thread for now.

Hi, I can import items, but I can't see the import button for services in the Service Library.

I need to make invoices and we have the same 30 services - photography.

 

How can I Import them into the square, please? Thank you, Lucas

Hi @intuitaim- This is a feature request we're tracking here. I moved your question to that thread so that you can be notified if we announce any changes there.

Has this feature been added yet? It would be so helpful for bulk updating prices.

I'm also looking for this "feature"... it's strange that a Square would make it so easy to switch our "Items" to the then-new "Services" without any way to bulk edit them like we can with items... it's pretty obvious that the services system is based on the items system, so it's like the import/export functionality was actively removed - so weird.

We would like to request this as well. It is so we can back up our own Service Library. We just had a chunk of our Services Library deleted by human error (which can happen to anyone any time). Thankfully we had another set to help us to reproduce them. This is when we found out that Square doesn't back up either the Items or Services library?? We are expected to export to Excel as a backup?? I have had to screen capture each service and all its variations (which we have about 200) so we have a backup (until we make changes).

Still waiting -- its 2022 now and many businesses use the SERVICES system - its absurd you do not have an import feature for this. This should be a major priority.
