No Change Back option for Cash paying customers?
I am very, very small and most of the transactions I do are through Cash. The customers buy my product with a $5 bill and don't care about getting their change back (neighbors and such). I was wondering if there's a way to make it No Change Back during the process so that the app accuratley represents sales (in terms of how many I sold, because when you type in a custom amount, it doesn't use the Library of items), rather than having a $5 bill, but the app say $4.50 or something like that.
Even if I punch in the custom amount and type in a note, the transaction in the Activity feed says "Custom Amount" instead of "<Item Name>". It'd be very nice to have a feature like this to more accurately track the amount of sales!
So that's why having a No Change Back option would be useful.
Edit - Perhaps this could be changed to a "Tip" feature. "Would you like to round up as a tip to <Company Name>?"

@DeleteThis - Welcome to the Seller Community, and kudos on your first post! 🙌
As for your request, this definitely sounds like it could be a useful feature! I really appreciate that you took the time to share so many details too! Have you considered creating an item called "No Cash Back" or "Tip" to document when customers leave their change? If you're using Cash Drawer Management, you can also do a "Paid In" amount to adjust the cash drawer to the actual balance. You can make a note that the discrepancy was due to tips.
In the meantime, I'd be happy to pass along your feedback to our product liaison team. Please check out this thread for more details on the feature request process.
PS) If my answer solved your problem, would you mind marking it as "Best Answer"? That'll help the rest of the community find what they're looking for. If not, just write back, and I'll continue to help. Thanks!

Hey Sean,
I have added an item titled "Courtesy" for the mean time. I suppose this will be a good workaround for now!
Hopefully we can see a "No change back" option underneath the the spot we enter how much cash they're paying with!
Thank you very much for the response and passing the idea along. (:
