When creating an item there is a section you can add a description. Once the item is saved and your using Square Point of Sale there is an option to search for an item, when you locate the item how can you pull up the description section so you can see the description you added when you originally set it up?
Here is what I'm looking to do, I run a nightclub, there are 1,000's of cocktails so when I added the drink item I also added in the description the recipe for making the drink so that when a bartender looks the item up on Square Point of Sale they can also see the description to know how to make the drink. SO far the only thing it does is when I locate the item and touch it, it adds it to the cart for check-out. When it’s in the cart there is a section for description or note and its blank.
What I have circled in red is the section I looking for in Square Point of Sale, I want to be able to pull this up so we can see this section. We are using iPad Air as our POS.
