modifier image / notes

I sell customizable shirts and the customer can add a logo from a list and/or their name.  I can't see how I can add an image to a modifier so the customer can see the logos they can choose from and I can't figure out how to give the option for the customer to type in what they want for their name for that modifier.

Is this possible and if it should not be a modifier for either of these, what should it be?

Steps should be:

1. Select their shirt choice and then size from variations

2. Add logo if wanted (extra $)

3. Add name if wanted (extra $)

Thanks

Hey Gary, when I did something similar (customizable tote bags), I just uploaded product images showing all of the different modifiers and options.

So for example, if I had a red bag and a white bag with 3 different logos available, I would upload 6 different product images (red bag with logo 1, red bag with logo 2, red bag with logo 3, white bag with logo 1, etc.) so that the customers could see the different options.

If it's not clear in your modifiers which is which, then you could put text labels on your images saying "Red Bag with Logo #1" or something similar.  That's the only way I found to do it because I believe you're right - you cannot add images to modifiers.

As for adding their name, I would say they should put that in the "notes" of their order.

Thanks.  I have been doing that for the Name (although people forget to add it in the notes sometimes) but my shirts come with a specific logo and then they have an option of adding 1 of 8 to the back.  With all the shirt and logo options, it would be too much.  I guess I will just have to have the logos in text until this becomes an option.
