how to adjust a sales date?

I currently operate with some wholesale orders however my main income is derived from markets.  I keep track of fast cash sales as tallied on a piece of paper and then add in the total cash sales for the day later.  I sometimes forget to add it in and the month has slipped by.  I would like to adjust the date of those sales to reflect the correct month.  How do I do that?

There is not a way to Pre or Post date transactions or edit them.

Maybe this already is a thing but is it possible to put in a sale so that it automatically starts at a certain time like 6am the next day for example. Thanks 🙂
