disable discount option

Is there a way to disable the "Add discount" option for Square Register checkout screen? We don't provide discounts, and I'd like to have that option off of the screen.

Welcome to the Seller Community! 

To remove a discount, deselect the discount from the Apply discount to group page and press Save once complete. On your register, have you taken a look at Items > Discounts > Select the discount > Edit Discount, you should be able to toggle the discount off. Here is an article with more details on how you can create and manage discounts.

I looked at your response, and it doesn't appear to fix my issue. I don't want the word "Discount" to show up on our checkout page at all because we don't use discounts...we don't have any created. I looked for a toggle switch, but because we don't have any discounts created , there is no toggle. If you look at the screenshot in the first message I posted, it shows up on our Checkout screen even though we don't have any discounts set up. I'd like to clean up the screen and make it look like it did before the upgrade...without the word Discount.

At this time I have confirmed there is no way to remove the add discount option from the Checkout area. However at this time it is still possible to revert to the previous experience by going into More > Settings > Checkout > Revert to previous experience. We are working hard on making this new experience the best for our Sellers but you may revert back without issues.
