Why won't my domain name activate?
When I do a google search for my (name) store, I get this message...
Your Online Store is on its way.
To ensure that your Online Store is properly configured, follow these steps:
- Properly point your domain's DNS record to Square.
- Set your domain in your Online Store settings page. Test that your domain is valid.
- Wait up to 24-48 hours for your changes to propagate.

Hi there.
That sounds a bit strange.
Was this still happening? I was able to search your Online Store name and everything came up as normal.

Apologies for the delay, @LoneWolf367. The URLs have been taking a couple days to redirect. Are you still having trouble?
If you're assisting a client, we'll probably want to take a look at their account. Contact our support team if you're still having trouble so we can get their details privately. Thanks!

So the fix for me was to delete my CNAME record and instead use an A record for my shop.***.com subdomain.

How do you do this? I have the same problem. Sometimes the URL works and sometimes I get the same strange message (below). I have had my website up for a couple months now and it seems a bit strange that I still get this message:
Your Online Store is on its way.
To ensure that your Online Store is properly configured, follow these steps:
- Properly point your domain's DNS record to Square.
- Set your domain in your Online Store settings page. Test that your domain is valid.

Not understanding what is going on...

Hmmm, pretty strange, @Weezie. The domain should remain active after the initial set-up and wait period. Give us a call when can and we can take a closer look at your account with you. Thanks!

Hello,
Is there anyone that help me or guide to speak to someone to activate my domain? I purchased my personal domain name and cancelled the transaction through my bank institution, but need it to be active because I want to use elsewhere. I went to Weebly and I see the transaction but it won't allow me activate the domain.

Hi @marthamendez. I spoke with my Team. Sounds like your domain isn't published to a site. You can visit Square Online settings and manage the domain.
