Why isnt my domain name available?

I purchased a domain name thru Square and it's been over 48 hours and it's STILL not available. Why? Anyone dealt with this? What did you do?

Sometimes it takes longer than 48 hrs. Square purchases the domain name for you, then they have to send the DNS records to the internet provider and they have to update them.  It may take longer over the weekend also. Here is a troubleshoot list from Square you may want to look over.
