Why does my auto email say "Your download is ready"??? and how can I change??
I am a bakery, literally has nothing to do with my business and is confusing and makes me look unprofessional. Please tell me there is somewhere to change this? If not, how do I turn off the auto-email after purchase?

Hello @bakebelieve !
The only reason I can see you sending out download emails is if one of your items is marked as a digital item on your online store.
Web Dashboard -> Online -> Items -> Site Items
Click the Filter button at the top, then scroll down and select the Digital option under Item Type. Any items that come up with this filter should be changed to Physical.
This should stop the download emails and replace them with "Thank you for your order" type emails.
You can then configure the emails by going to the Email Alerts section of the online dashboard.
Hope this helps!

Dang. Of course it can't be that easy...
@Valentinahad a suggestion to a similar issue in this thread. Perhaps this would work for you? Otherwise you may want to give Weebly support a call. Follow the link in my signature, choose "More..." then "I don't see my issue." You'll get your customer code and a phone number to call. Square Online/Weebly support is one of the options when you call.

Same problem! I was desperately trying to edit the email my customers got when they made a purchase. Old info was going out. The confirmation email edit is so confusing. My old info was not there. I played with the header, and tried to add info there. After about an hour I found it under a different area (pick up instructions!). But now my test emails say "Your download is ready!" I am not selling downloads. I don't have anything in my pottery store marked as anything but physical. Please help!

I'm having this issue right now. I'm trying to edit many aspects of the confirmation email - deleting preset example text, changing the subject of the email. I can't seem to edit the confirmation email! Please help.

Hello @LVTheatreSchool,
I am sorry to hear you are having some issues editing the email. I appreciate you letting us know. To confirm you go to Square Online > Communications > Email Text Alerts > Click the three dots > Edit email. When you click edit email that is not working. What seems to happen?

I saw some of your other community posts about this question @LVTheatreSchool. The answer is the text that in the main body of the email can’t be changed. That is because it adjusts to the type of order it is, and will give information that applies to the specific order. For example, if someone purchased an item that will be shipped, it will not give them the information about where they can pick it up or deliver it. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
