Where can I find the gross amount for a Transaction?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "where can i find....."

a few weeks ago, i accessed a page on my account that showed the gross transaction amt, <less> fee amount, net amt. for an invoice.  i cannot for the life of me find it again. i was happy to see that square added the feature of showing the transaction fee rather than having to go into the invoice payment. i am hoping that someone can direct me to where it is located.  thanks

Hi @donnalcsw.  I think this is what you are referring to.  Go to the transactions list in your online dashboard and open the paid transaction.  Scroll to the bottom and you will see something like the screen shot below.  The information you are looking for is circled in yellow.  Let me know if you need anything else.

Was my post helpful? Take a moment to mark it as a possible "best answer." I hate the term, and wish we could just mark posts as "helpful." But this is our only mechanism at the moment. Just remember "Best answer" should be interpreted as "helpful," and nothing more. LOL. "Best" (ugh) answers help folks possibly find solutions to similar problems they are hoping to solve.

ChefChip...thanks for your idea.  however, it is not what i was referring to.  what you pointed out, i am familiar with.  what i was asking about is similar to the page showing the completed transactions list......but, it also included in the row of info is what the fee was.

i am stumped...i don't think i was dreaming.  thanks again,

donna

Sorry for the misunderstanding, @donnalcsw.  The only thing I know of that has all of this information is the Transactions CSV.  If you export that and open it in a spreadsheet, there are columns for gross sales, fees, total collected (which is net sales after fees), etc.  You could manipulate this as needed.  That CSV is found from the dashboard -> Transactions -> Export -> Transactions CSV.

If that doesn’t do it for you, I’m sorry to say I’m out of ideas.
