Virtual Terminal - Customer Email Address

Why would my Vitual Terminal not show the customer email address field that is shown in all the demo screen shots?

Hey @CCE-EOhm, welcome to the seller community and thanks for flagging this.

 

I think I know what happened — if your customer processed a payment with another Square seller previously, then their payment card would most likely already have an email address associated with it for sending automatic receipts.

 

If this doesn't clear things up, I'd suggest that you get in touch with our Support Team and they'll be able to take a deeper dive into what's been going on.
