Using the Appointments App

Using the Appointments App to check clients out,  how does the money go to the specified stylist? We have 7 stylsts with 7 different bank accounts. But we all obvioulsy want to be on the same schedule bc we want to be able to schedule for each other. We are all booth rental.

 Hello @Luett4

This is kind of tricky since each stylist has their own bank account and their looking for direct payment. I would recommend setting up one Square Account with multiple locations. Each location can have it's own bank account associated with it and each stylist can enter their own SSN or EIN for the respective location. This is important for tax purposes, Square will issue a 1099-K for each location that qualifies.

When it comes to checking out clients through the Appointments App each stylist will have to make sure they are signed in on their own location to make sure the payment reaches the correct bank account. To switch locations they will need to sign out of the app. When they sign in they will see the option to sign into a location on the tablet.

It's not a perfect solution by any means, but it will allow all of your stylists to be on one Appointments account. Also it will make sure that each payment is routed to the correct bank account!

I own a hair salon, and we are just getting started with the Appointments App. We are all self employed, so we need 7 bank accounts hooked up. I have figured out how to do locations and different accounts, but I was wondering if you can do locations without logging in and out of the app every time. We decided to do the Appointmenst App for more convienence, and it seems to be more of a hassle. We have an iMac with our schedules on it, and we are using our iPad to check our clients out. We didn't want to have to log in and out every time on the iPad. We are booth rental, so everyone does their own money, and their own log in info. We are using my dashboard for the scheduling. Or, is there a way to toggle between locations without logging out of the app?
