Turn pickup on and off without affecting shipping orders

Our restaurant has a gift shop. Up until recently we used square to sell gift shop items only, with shipping as the default fulfillment. Now we have set up online ordering of food for pickup. The problem I'm running into is that every night when I turn off pickup and every morning when I turn it back on, I also need to reset the shipping option for every single gift shop item. Is there a way to keep one category available for shipping 24/7 while turning pickup on and off daily for all items?

When you say that you need to reset shipping for your items, what does that mean? Does that mean that you need to add shipping as a fulfillment option again for your items?

Yes,  I want one category to be available for shipping 24/7 and everything else is pickup only for certain hours.  I have to reset the fulfillment for the shippable items every day.

Hi @juliebeer you can toggle shipping settings for specific items, but not whole categories, so you will need to do this manually. If turning off pickup is unchecking shipping for items, then it sounds like a bug and I would contact Support to file a ticket with engineering.
